A 17mm portrait

After Mark’s insightful piece on portrait lenses I thought I’d post a shot I took last night with the 17-40 on a full frame DSLR. there’s a sofbox high up at 4 o’clock and a low powered brolly over at 10 o’clock. had to cross a comfort boundary to get this shot…. was within 6 inches of him when I clicked the shutter.
So 85mm’s the only portrait lens then???
